Caring For the Carer:

Overview:

Caring for others frequently comes at a significant price to the carer. Shift-work, emergencies, workload pressures, emotional attachments to the aged or terminal patients, can eventually take it's toll. These short workshops offer a strategic approach to self management in the caring professions.

Training - Options

a)  Full Day workshops:

A selection of self-care modules with the opportunity to request and incorporate specific requirements.

b) Half-Day Workshops:

WS - I     -   Sleep Improvement & Fatigue Reduction

A practical approach to obtaining quality sleep and minimizing the symptoms associated with sleep deprivation and fatigue.

WS - II    -   Coping with Pressure

A systematic approach to ‘dissecting’ pressure and stress and applying practical methodology to reduce the personal and potentially damaging effects of the automatic ‘Fight or Flight’ response.

WS - III   -   Emotional Energy Management

The 2 phases of this workshop offer a solid foundation for Self Management in relation to life’s experiences and the achievement of career and personal goals. It covers:

Phase-I:    Recognizing the impact of life’s experiences and the way it has shaped motivations, beliefs and behaviours within the working and home environments.

Phase-II:   Application of unique methodology that is literally transformational in the achieving of personal satisfaction, contentment and ambitions.
